Al Azhar 44 Junior High School Holds Book Fair and Kartini Day Commemoration 2026

On April 21, 2026, Al Azhar 44 Junior High School Grand Wisata organized a Book Fair along with the commemoration of Kartini Day. The event was held within the school environment and involved students, teachers, as well as active participation from parents.

This activity aimed to increase students’ interest in reading through the Book Fair while also instilling the values of R.A. Kartini’s struggle as a symbol of women’s emancipation in Indonesia. Various publishers participated by providing a wide range of educational and inspirational reading materials.

Throughout the event, students took part in various activities such as group reading sessions, book discussions, and creative performances themed around Kartini. Students also wore traditional attire as a form of respect for Kartini’s struggle in advocating for women’s right to education. The event ran successfully with great enthusiasm from all participants. Teachers and school staff played an active role in guiding and supporting students so they could gain positive values from each activity.

Through this Book Fair and Kartini Day commemoration, it is hoped that students of Al Azhar 44 Junior High School Grand Wisata will develop a stronger love for reading, gain broader knowledge, and continue to embody Kartini’s spirit in their daily lives.
